University Apartments are designated for graduate students and families. Once an apartment becomes available, we’ll post it here on this site. Please review the eligibility requirements for living in the on-campus apartments prior to reaching out. Email our office (apartments@sxwx168.net) to request the apartment. Use “Available Apartment Request” as the subject line. Include the following in the body of the email:
- First and last name of student requesting the apartment
- Boise State student ID number
- Apartment community and type (as listed on the Table of Available Apartments section on this page)
- Anticipated move-in date
- Whether you plan to live in the apartment by yourself of with dependents
After you’ve made a request, our office will reach out to you within the next business day either with an offer or to let you know the unit has been offered to someone else. After an official offer is made, you will have 24 hours to accept. Should you accept, you will have 5 days to complete and submit the apartment application and pay the $75 application fee. A $250 security deposit will be charged to your student account and will be due with the first month’s rent.
Please note that roommates are no longer permitted in the apartments. If you choose to accept an offer, you will not be permitted to add roommates to offset the rent cost. The student who signs the housing contract will be responsible for the entire rent amount.
You can look on the Off-Campus Marketplace to review alternative off-campus housing options or to post yourself as a roommate in order to connect with current university apartment residents who are looking for a roommate.
